The Quack Pack
The Story

THE ORIGIN OF
THE QUACK PACK

Before there was a game, before there were points, badges, leaderboards, and mystery ducks, there was one little yellow duck who refused to sit still.

His name was Dux.

Dux — leader of The Quack Pack

Dux was not like the other ducks on the shelf. While most rubber ducks were happy floating in bathtubs or sitting quietly on dashboards, Dux had bigger dreams. He wanted adventure. He wanted the open road. He wanted mud on the tires, wind in his feathers, and a flock that understood one simple rule:

You do not wait to be noticed. You roll up and make someone smile.

Legend says it all started one summer night when Dux was left on the hood of a Jeep after a trail ride. The owner came outside, spotted him sitting there with his goggles tilted low, and laughed so hard that the whole block looked over.

That was the first ducking.

But Dux knew it could be more.

We don't follow — we waddle.

So he gathered the boldest, funniest, most mischievous ducks he could find. Ducks with sunglasses. Ducks with attitude. Ducks with bandanas, leather jackets, lucky charms, shiny finishes, and rare colors. They were not troublemakers in a bad way. They were joy-makers. Road warriors. Tiny rebels with one mission:

Pull up. Drop a duck. Leave a smile.

They called themselves The Quack Pack. And from that day forward, every Jeep became part of the game.

The Quack Pack does not chase clout. They do not follow trends. They do not ask permission to bring joy.

Now, whenever a Jeep gets ducked, the legend grows. A new player joins the flock. A new badge gets earned. A new story gets added to the road. Some ducks are easy to find. Some have to be earned. Some only appear during special events, city hunts, Jeep meetups, or secret challenges. But every duck carries the same message:

  • You have been seen.
  • You have been chosen.
  • You got ducked.

And if you see Dux standing out front with his goggles on and The Quack Pack behind him, just know one thing:

They are coming to duck you.

Honoring the Original Ducking Legacy

Before Duck the Goose became a game and before The Quack Squad became a character universe, there was a simple act of kindness that helped shape Jeep culture.

The Jeep ducking movement is widely credited to Allison Parliament, the founder of Duck Duck Jeep. In 2020, after a difficult encounter, Allison chose kindness. She placed a rubber duck on another Jeep with a kind message — a small gesture that grew into a global tradition of Jeep owners leaving ducks for one another as a way to spread joy, connection, and community.

Allison's legacy continues through every Jeep owner who gives a duck, receives a duck, or uses the moment to make someone smile. Duck the Goose honors that legacy by keeping kindness at the center of the experience. Our app does not replace the tradition — it celebrates it, documents it, and helps the next generation of Jeep duckers keep the spirit moving.

Duck the Goose is built on the belief that one small gift can turn into a bigger community.

Duck the Goose is an independent community project inspired by Jeep ducking culture and the kindness legacy of Allison Parliament and Duck Duck Jeep. We are not affiliated with Jeep, Stellantis, or Duck Duck Jeep.
